While watching the end of Toy Story 3 and bawling my eyes out, a big part of the emotional experience was that I thought I would never see the likes of Woody, Buzz and the gang ever again. Simply put, it was a perfect conclusion to the trilogy. But then a strange thing happened: it was announced that there would be two Toy Story shorts coming out in 2011 that would continue the story beyond Lee Unkrich's film. But rather than being worried that they may harm the legacy, I am instead elated. We get to see our friends again!

EW has posted the first clip from Hawaiian Vacation, the short film that will precede Cars 2 in theaters this summer. Presumably taken from the very start of the story, Ken and Barbie think that they are going on a trip, but it turns out that they haven't traveled very far.
