The first ever official review of The Dark Knight has popped up over at Rolling Stone, and it’s by Peter Travers. He seems to think it’s pretty good. Actually, he compares it to “a thunderbolt” which is “about to rip into the blanket of bland we call summer movies.” I guess he didn’t see Kung Fu Panda.
Travers 3.5/4 review is nothing short of glowing. He compares Bale’s performance to Al Pancino in Godfather II and layers on the superlatives in describing Heath Ledger’s Joker. He’s got the posthumous Oscar campaign up and running. It’s nothing but good news for Batman fans in Travers review. Unless he’s completely off his rocker, it sounds like The Dark Knight is going to be really really good.
But then you already knew that from all the trailers and clips which have been flying around the internet. Even more of those have popped up tonight, including a brand new UK Dark Knighttrailer, a new episode of Gotham Tonight, and several fresh TV spots. You can find direct links to every TDK available just about anywhere in the video section of our preview right here.

I can't wait to see this one! And look at this -- great site with TDK clips, trailers and behind-the scenes making of stuff, and the clips are amazing quality, HD and SD too. http://www.comcast.net/thedarkknightmovie/
