We’re getting our first look at an image from The Incredibly Hulk today, courtesy of JoBlo.com. It’s not much of an image of course, especially this far out on the movie. It is, however, something. This is the banner advertisement for the upcoming New York City Licensing Show.
Looking at the silhouetted image, it’s hard to remember that this isn’t a sequel, as we’ve been told time after time. That figure certainly looks the same as a silhouette version of the monster from The Hulk. I guess a Hulk is a Hulk is a Hulk, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see Avi Arad push for the same effects model to be used – after all, it is already developed and that’s less money they would have to put into effects. Still, that would defeat the whole idea of this not being a sequel. Same effects, picks up where the last story lets off… at some point it becomes a follow up regardless of what the writers and producers are telling us.
The Incredible Hulk is currently in production with Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, and William Hurt.
