Pixar’s next picture is WALL-E and I’m super excited about the adventure of the little robot, but Pixar is a company constantly moving, so they’re already releasing hints of other upcoming films. An image from another upcoming Pixar film, titled Up has been released at Disney Studios (formerly known as Disney/MGM Studios) at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
The image from the movie, placed on Picasa by EpcotServo (and shown below), shows an old man opening the door of his house to quite a surprise. This ties in with the description that has been put out of Up, which is about an older man who befriends a young Wilderness Ranger. The official description tells us the old man, “travels the globe, fights beasts and villains, and eats dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon.”
Although the movie isn’t going to be out until 2009, and it’s unlikely heavy promotion will start until WALL-E is in theaters. For now, though, you can check out the Walt Disney World image below:
