Miley Cyrus and Nicholas Sparks are just about a perfect match-- both of them coming out of the South with broad fanbases across the country, both of them offering the kind of comforting entertainment that feels just hip enough for college girls to secretly like.

So tomorrow at last we get our first look at Cyrus in The Last Song, a movie based on a novel that Sparks wrote specifically for the girl otherwise known as Hannah Montana. The trailer debuts tomorrow night at 7 p.m. PST, but today Disney has posted the first three stills from the film on its Facebook page, and you can check them out below. That guy she's canoodling with is Liam Hemsworth, brother of Chris Hemsworth, who played Kirk's dad in Star Trek is also starring in Thor. Those Aussies are taking over the world, guys.
