First Look At Abin Sur's Spaceship From Green Lantern?

Filming on The Green Lantern has just gotten started down in New Orleans, but we may already have a glimpse at the visual style of the film. A reader of Comic Book Movie sent in a photo they snapped on the film's lakefront set, an image that seems to be pretty clearly of an otherwordly spaceship being pulled out of the water.

As the Comic Book Movie people put it, the spaceship most likely belongs to Abin Sur, the Lantern's extraterrestrial predecessor who passed his duties along to Hal Jordan after crash-landing on earth. Though it's a grainy cell phone photo, the image gives us a pretty good idea of the spaceship's sleek, kind of 50s-esque sci-fi look. I like it. Take a look below and Green Lantern experts, speak up on what you think this might mean for the movie as a whole.
