Ever since it was announced that we’d be getting yet another Planet of the Apes movie, everyone has been wondering what the apes are going to look like this time. Well, io9 got their hands on a few spy photos from the set in San Francisco and they don’t really answer that question at all. Sorry gang.

The new pics show off a stuntman in a familiar mo-cap suit trucking through the trolley laden streets of SF on all fours. Via a big red name tag, we know this is Caesar, the leader of the simian rebellion wreaking havoc after escaping from the lab where his intelligence was borne. It's worth noting that famed mo-cap actor Andy Serkis is believed to be playing Caesar, though if they're filming a dangerous scene in these photos it makes sense that a stuntman is stepping in.
