First Look At Confessions of a Shopaholic![]()
When you’re making a movie in New York it’s pretty much impossible to keep your set closed. Anyone walking by with a camera phone becomes a set photographer, and before you’ve wrapped on day one there’s already shots of the stars sitting around on the set, gaffers in the background and giant lights blocking the view. It’s kind of fun, actually. The streets of New York get turned into a little circus that’s there for the sharp-eyed who stumble across it.
So ever since Confessions of a Shopaholic started filming in New York a few months ago, photos have popped on the web of star Isla Fisher wearing some of the most bizarre high fashion outfits you’ve ever seen. The ladies of Sex and the City seriously have nothing on her. The BadandUgly has collected a few of the shots, including one that might be a spoiler if it didn’t look so much like a dream sequence. Seriously, look at that skirt Isla is wearing in the above image. Does that look like something any real human being would wear? So the fact that she’s kissing Hugh Dancy in the shot might mean it’s their big climactic kiss at the end—in which he loves her despite her ridiculous taste in clothes!—or it might be a dream sequence because she’s dressed like piñata. You can judge for yourself with some of the images below, or head over to TheBadandUgly to see the full set. And keep an eye out on the Internet for more photos—the movie is still shooting, and those pedestrians and their cameras are at the ready. |
