Our first look at Jack Black in Gulliver’s Travels has arrived and it’s kind of ridiculous. The image below was tweeted by Empire as they wander around France in advance of the Cannes Film Festival.

It sort of makes sense that they’d use this particular scene from Gulliver in the posters, it’s easily the most iconic image from the classic Gulliver tale. But Jack’s bulging belly and that weird expression on his face just makes the whole thing look like a cartoon at worst and a muppet-powered Jim Henson television special at best (which I think I’d rather see than this movie anyway).
