First Look At Jim Carrey's A Christmas Carol

Disney has released the first ever image from A Christmas Carol, their motion-captured, all-CGI take on the classic Christmas tale. It stars Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge, and that’s his creepy, computer generated avatar you’ll see below. Someone should really use this technology to make a horror movie. Scaring little kids isn’t cool.

Disney’s A Christmas Carol opens in 3D at theaters around the country on November 9, and footage from the film is screening at Cannes today. Here’s the still:
