First Look At Old Spock In New Star Trek If you’re a Trekkie, then after watching the new Star Trek trailer there was only one question on your mind: Where’s Leonard Nimoy? JJ Abrams’ has long touted Trek’s original Vulcan as a central part of his Trek re-envisioning, yet he was left out of the trailers, perhaps as a way of courting those new fans Paramount seems to so desperately crave.

You won’t see Leonard in the theatrical trailer, but Paramount has solved the case of the missing Spock with a new, internet only version of the Star Trek trailer. It’s the same trailer you’ve seen already, with one slight addition at the end. Watch the alternate version of the trailer in high-def over at AICN or watch it below, and wait till the end for Nimoy’s return to wearing pointed ears:
