Now that so many of us have been able to see what Rooney Mara did with a short amount of screentime in The Social Network, it's impossible not to look forward to her starring role in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which she's filming now with Daniel Craig and David Fincher in Sweden. A few weeks ago we got a look at Mara riding a bike that looked exactly like something Lisbeth Salander might ride, and now Rooney Mara Source has uncovered the real prize: set photos of Mara in costume as Lisbeth.

Yes, they're photos taken from far away and don't show that much detail, but they do give a sense of the hair and makeup they're bringing for the character, which looks a little less intense than what Noomi Rapace wore in the Swedish film of the story. Mara looks great in costume, though, and seems to be nailing that "small but tough" thing that so defines Lisbeth. Check out the photos below and count on more coming shortly, since on-set spies are apparently just as dedicated in Sweden as they are over here.
