First Look At Ruben Fleischer's Next, 30 Minutes Or Less
Ruben Fleischer blew up last year after his directorial hit Zombieland snatched up millions of adoring fans and actually made quite a bit of money for a low budget zomedy. The question of “what’s next” for the director was asked over and over again-- at one point he was even in the running to direct Mission: Impossible 4-- until finally we learned that 30 Minutes or Less, about a guy who is forced to rob a bank in order to save his best friend who is being held hostage by two criminals.
The movie reteams Fleischer with Zombieland frontman Jesse Eisenberg and brings in Aziz Ansari and Danny McBride for some comedic cred. Ansari will play a guy wrapped up in a bank heist by a couple of baddies and forced to have a bomb strapped to his chest, while Eisenberg is the friend trying to save him
In this first set of photos from the set in Grand Rapids, Michigan we see Eisenberg and Ansari chasing down a bus, and a bunch of second unit shots of cars with camera rigs strapped to them. There are a couple of the images below, and you can check the rest out over at mlive.com. 30 Minutes or Less drops August 12th, 2011.
