Our first ever look at Russell Crowe done up as Robin Hood for Ridley Scott’s used to be Nottingham movie, which is now much more boring and titled Robin Hood. It’s hard not to look at this photo and think… gee he’d sure look better as the Sheriff. I’ve never really pictured Robin Hood as old and grizzled as if he’s caring the weight of the world on his shoulders. I always figured he was better at putting on a good face, what with all that Merry Men shit, but apparently he's the Terminator in tights.
