It's hard to imagine anything more British, and more endearing and awesome, than Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis teaming up as a pair of murderers. In Burke & Hare the actors otherwise known as Shaun and Gollum team up as a pair of guys murdering their way through nineteenth century Edinburgh, directed by the guy who gave us the best buddy adventure movie of all time, Blues Brothers' John Landis.

That's a lot to be excited about, and while the first image from the film debuting over at Empire Online, it does confirm any suspicion you may have had that Serkis looks awesome in a top hat.
