The 2009 Sundance Film Festival is less than two weeks away, and now that we’ve all gotten rid of our New Years Eve hangovers the CB festival team is planning its Park City adventure. One of the movies I’m most interested in seeing is The Informers.

The Informers is one of those Crash-like, multiple connected characters affairs. Only this one seems a little edgier. It’s based on a Bret Easton Ellis novel which takes place over a week in 1983 Los Angeles and tells the short stories of movie executives, rock stars, a vampire, and other morally left of center people. The big selling point of this one is the film’s star-studded cast. Mickey Rourke, Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Winona Ryder, and a whole host of others star.

We’ve got a first look at the movie for you below, in the form of four pictures featuring Rourke, Thornton, Basinger, and international hottie of the moment Amber Heard. No I don’t know which one is the vampire, though Amber Heard does have a vaguely Twilighty-look about her.
