Will Ferrell is making a movie version of the classic, campy television series Land of the Lost, and of course that means there will be Sleestaks. Well here they are, the villainous lizard creatures which will make trouble for Ferrell’s little lost in a strange land group.
Oddly enough, they really don’t look any different than they did on the show. And why should they? Ferrell’s version is a comedy, and those rubbery bad guys were already pretty accidentally comedic. Take a look:
Land of the Lost is now shooting at Universal Studios. In this version, instead of a family, a disgraced paleontologist, his assistant, and a macho tour guide end up in a strange land inhabited by dinosaurs, monkey people, and those dastardly, rubbery Sleestaks.
