It’s finally happened. Frank Miller has me really excited about The Spirit. That excitement comes courtesy of two amazing stills from the film, sent to us today by the folks at Lionsgate.
The movie is being adapted from the classic Will Eisner superhero comic strip of the same name, and from the look of these images Frank Miller isn’t just adapting it, he’s taking his stars and sticking them right inside it.
Pictured in the two stills below are Samuel L. Jackson as The Spirit’s arche enemey Octopus, and the luscious Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss, a “punk secretary and frigid vixen.” Take a look:
