In was in late December that we first told you that James Franco was in talks to play Hugh Hefner in Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman's Lovelace, a biopic about the famous Deep Throat porn star Linda Lovelace. Since then the project has begun production, and we've gotten to see a few pictures, including this official still as well as a few set photos. But what will Franco look like as the founder of Playboy. Will he be sporting the famous pipe and smoking jacket? Perhaps at some point in the film he will be rocking that look, but in the first shot of him on set that's not the case.

Lovelace stars Amanda Seyfried as the titular tragic starlet, while the rest of the cast includes Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Adam Brody, Chloe Sevigny, Hank Azaria, Wes Bentley, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick and plenty of other faces you'll recognize. The screenplay was written by Merritt Johnson and Andy Bellin, based on the Eric Danville's biography "The Complete Linda Lovelace." The film does not yet have a release date.
