The first picture of Johnny Depp in costume as gangster John Dillinger for Public Enemies has popped up online. The Michael Mann directed film is the story of the Federal government’s attempt to take down the notorious American gangsters who flourished in the 30s. Depp leads an all star cast which includes Christian Bale, Channing Tatum, Marion Cotillard, Giovani Ribisi, Stephen Dorf, and David Wenham.

The picture was taken yesterday by the celeb blog Faded Youth, while Public Enemies shot on the street in downtown Columbus. Take a look:
