First Never Let Me Go Poster Is Nostalgic, Moody Perfection![]()
Never Let Me Go was recently announced as one of the big-deal premieres that will happen at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, but it didn't take that to know that the movie will be a major player in the fall Oscar season. It's based on the emotional and spooky novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, and stars previous Oscar nominees Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan alongside Andrew Garfield who, as you may have heard, is about to be kind of a big deal.
The first trailer for Never Let Me Go came online over a month ago, and we're only now getting a look at the film's first poster, which has a similar nostalgic, slightly creepy vibe. It's unclear how much plot description counts as a spoiler-- the movie seems much more open about its central premise than the book is at first-- but suffice it to say Knightley, Mulligan and Garfield play three prep school friends who grow up together into an uncertain future that's totally out of their control. You can watch the trailer to learn more, or to just get a spoiler-free sense of the movie, check out the poster below, courtesy of Fox Searchlight. Never Let Me Go is set for release September 15, just a few days after its Toronto debut. ![]() |
