The first ever official stills from the next Chronicles of Narnia, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, have just been released online. Alright I’m just going to come right out and say it: This looks a little like Hook. For some of you, that may be a bad thing, for me it’s an exciting sign of good things to come. I love Hook, Spielberg’s Robin Williams turned Peter Pan movie never gets enough credit.

The similarities are primarily in the vibrant look of Dawn Treader’s ship-based sets. This third movie, unlike the other two, takes place almost entirely at sea as Prince Caspian voyages to lands outside his realm looking for adventure. You’ll see Barnes below along with returning Narnia kids Edmund and Lucy. Their older brother and sister are out for this one, replaced by a more complex character, and in my opinion one of the best in the series, named Eustace.
