First Poster For James Gunn's Super Tells Crime To Shut Up![]()
When making a movie that has Rainn Wilson playing an ultra-violent amateur superhero, it would be a crime not to give the film some creative artwork to go with it. Though the cast is pretty damn stellar, including the likes of Ellen Page, Kevin Bacon, Nathan Fillion and Liv Tyler, having them all stand together in triangle formation or be shown as floating heads would just be stupid. Luckily that's not the case here.
IFC Midnight has sent over the first poster for the James Gunn-directed Super and there's just so much to love about it. There's the paper folds and hand-written words that make it look old-school, the cutout facial features that turn the red background into a mask and, of course, the tagline: "He'll totally fucking beat evil." Sold. Check out the poster below and click on it to see it full size over in our Blend Film Database. Super hits theaters on April 1st. ![]() |
