I love creative posters. Everyday I see one-sheet after one-sheet doing the exact same thing as everyone else, cramming all of the stars together on to some flashy background. Every once in a while, however, a poster comes around that shakes things up and tries something new. It would appear the marketing people behind Source Code tried to do exactly that, but something is a bit...off.

Yahoo! has premiered the first poster for the film and while I like the concept - pushing the star into the back, throwing in a few stills all while having an explosion - it still gives off a "real men don't look at explosions vibe." It's not a horrible poster by any means (we've seen much, much worse), but given the creative concept behind the film, one hopes that we'll see better art work as we get closer to the film's release date.
