Over here we've been excited about Tron, or Tron 2, or whatever they're calling it, ever since that surprise Comic Con reveal and the very notion that there would be a second movie. But everything we're excited about is footage from the movie that doesn't actually exist-- that is, footage that was cooked up to get people excited, but isn't actually part of the movie.

But now the production has set up in Vancouver, and a Slashfilm reader submitted the first photo of the set-- a blurry, camera phone shot, but hey, it's a photo. You see a downtown office building emblazoned with the Encom logo, and featuring a room that's tricked out in some very Tron-esque bright lights.

The reader also sent in a description of some filming he's seen, including "tons of police cars chasing a guy hanging on to the top of a taxi." That seems to suggest there will be a lot of action taking place in the real world in this movie, which isn't necessarily what we were expecting.
