In his first movie Judd Apatow tackled love. In his second, dealt with having kids. In his third, he’s skipping right to facing death.

The first trailer for Funny People is here. It stars Adam Sandler as a dying comedian. He hires an up and coming stand up played by Seth Rogen to write jokes from him and be in his makeshift comedian posse… sort of like the one Sandler actually travels around with. He tells him he’s dying… but then halfway through the trailer he gets better and it’s all about celebrating the joy of life and stealing an Australian man’s wife.
