Just yesterday I wrote an article detailing the awesome year Emma Stone has had thus far, but I think it's important to note that her Crazy, Stupid, Love co-star is having a pretty amazing 2011 himself. In addition to having the aforementioned romantic dramedy coming out this Friday, he also has Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive, my favorite movie of the year, coming out in September. What's more, it was announced yesterday that the George Clooney-directed political thriller The Ides of March would be playing at the Toronto Film Festival and this morning brought the film's first poster. Now we have the movie's first trailer.

In the film Gosling stars as Stephen Myers, a staffer for a politician competing for the United States' greatest seat of power(George Clooney). When a competing politician (Paul Giamatti) gets in contact with him, however, he suddenly finds himself in a moral quandary, forced to decide if he wants to stand up for what he believes in or move his career forward.
