When I first heard about Outlander I thought the concept sounded interesting - an alien soldier lands on Earth in Norway during the time of the Vikings. The alien is forced to team up with the primitive warriors when a creature from outer space arrives as well. Then again, I was excited about the idea of Pathfinder’s Vikings vs. Indians as well, and look how that turned out.

Now a trailer has arrived online for Outlander and we have something to base an opinion off of. So here’s mine: Other than the fact that it stars Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ), this looks like it should be showing up on Sci-Fi as one of their monster-of-the-week type movies.

Okay, maybe I’m being too harsh, and I will reserve some judgment until the movie actually gets here. I can’t say I’m anxiously awaiting this one though, especially now that I’ve seen the trailer. Take a look below and build your own opinions:
