After watching Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds last year, I came to a simple conclusion: I would be willing to watch Melanie Laurent in anything. Playing the tragic hero Shoshanna Dreyfus, Laurent was a revelation, and while her newest film sounds like it could be a really good time, the trailer tries its hardest to make me think otherwise.

The Weinstein Company has sent over the first trailer for the French film, and while it seems like a fun, light-hearted comedy, the voice-over narration sucks all of the energy out. In some ways it's understandable - it's a French language film with English subtitles - but they could have stuck in more than two lines of dialogue and made the narration script a little less cliched.
