I’m all for the return to 2D animation and with Disney’s The Princess and the Frog coming this winter, it seems as though 2D’s resurrection is nigh. After seeing the animated portions of Enchanted last year and with the promotion of John Lasseter to head of Walt Disney Animation, it’s easy to feel as though Disney still has some great cartoons up their sleeves.

Now if Disney could only figure out their live-action department and stop releasing stuff like The Game Plan and College Road Trip, they might actually be on to something.
