Flight 93![]()
So here we are, five years down the line and it's happened. The trailer for Paul Greengrass's 9/11 thriller, Flight 93, has been released over at Apple trailers.
I still have mixed feelings about this one, no matter how many other sites might be fainting with awe at how amazingly put together the trailer is. It could be the greatest movie on the planet, but there's just something about the subject matter still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The real phone messages were chilling on the news programs of the time and they still ring fresh in my mind, especially when cheaply recycled in a marketing plan for a Hollywood movie. I may be wrong but something tells me Spielberg will say something more profound and relevant about terrorism and our lives with Munich than either Greengrass or Oliver Stone will with their much more controversial subject matter. |
