Food Inc Trailer: Cheez Whiz Will Be The Death Of Us![]()
Food, Inc. might have been an industry changing documentary had it been released a year ago. Now, with the economy in the tank, I’m no longer sure if the movie’s central theme, stated at the outset of its firs trailer is true: “The industry doesn’t want you to know the truth about what you’re eating, because if you knew, you might not want to eat it.” Actually I probably still want to eat it, if it’s cheap.
About a year ago my wife and I decided to start trying to buy healthier food. After a couple of months, we gave up. Not because we didn’t like the food we were getting, we did, but because we couldn’t afford it. Sure that organic beef may be taste better, be better for the environment, and better for me too, but when people’s paychecks are getting smaller the only thing you really need to know about it is that it costs twice as much. So here’s the first trailer for Food, Inc. watch it in high-res at Apple or below. Don’t expect it to change anything any time soon. Cheap is sheik. |
