The first trailer for Fool’s Gold is here. You know, the movie poster with Kate Hudson’s airbrushed abs. The first trailer is here, and it’s intentionally awful. It has to be, nothing is this bad by accident. From it’s cliché, light-hearted music to Matthew McConaughey’s tie dyed t-shirt to Kate Hudson’s constant shrieking and mugging for the camera. The formula rom-com has been applied to the formula treasure hunting movie, and the result is some sort of theatrical black hole.
It's like they came up with this thing by simply combining McConaughey's last two noteworthy movies. Sahara and whatever forgettable rom-com he was last in with Kate Hudson. Truly unbearable stuff.
