Foster's Site Takes Flight![]()
Flightplan will be the second mid-air thriller to hit theaters this year, since Red Eye beat it to the punch by opening this weekend. Instead of Rachel McAdams, Flightplan stars Jodie Foster and she's lost her kid somewhere in her airplane's luggage compartment… if indeed she even ever actually had a kid. There's some doubt on this matter. Sean Bean plays the plane's captain, and insists her son never boarded. Since it's Sean Bean its safe to assume he's lying.
The film's official site has just gone live tonight, complete with the usual assortment of trailers, photos, and annoying "Coming Soon" signs. Those have become the gold standard in movie website information. Your website's nothing without an inaccessible section. Notice to marketing weasels: those do nothing to build anticipation, they won't get people to keep checking back for updates… they just annoy us. They piss us off. At least they've got more content than the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire website. Course that's easy to do since the GOF site debuted with absolutely nothing. Use the link below to check out the newly launched, and partially complete Flightplan website. Flightplan sucks your children into the engine September 23. |
