Now that the calendar has flipped to November, we are now only about six months away from the theatrical release of Marvel's The Avengers. While that's mathematically the closest we've ever been to seeing the complete superhero team up on the big screen, it still feels like forever away. But for those that are desperate to watch Robert Downey Jr. take down the baddies and perhaps cause a few explosions, I have good news: there's only one month left to wait for Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows, and today we have four new character posters from the film.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, the sequel to the 2009 winter blockbuster sees Sherlock Holmes (Downey Jr.) and his partner, Dr. Watson (Jude Law) face off against the greatest villain the world has ever seen: the evil Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris). As you can see in the new posters, the cast list also includes Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, but Stephen Fry, Rachel McAdams, Eddie Marsan and Kelly Reilly are all on-board as well.
