For whatever reason director Gary Ross and the other Hunger Games producers are insisting on casting all the most insignificant roles in the movie right now, even though key characters like Haymitch and Cinna are still up for grabs. So even though I'm Cinema Blend's resident Hunger Games enthusiast I'm still not really sure what to tell you about the latest update to the official Hunger Games Facebook fan page, which has revealed the casting of the tributes from districts 5 and 6.

The lucky actors are Chris Mark and Jacqueline Emerson, who will be representing District 5, and Ashton Moio and Kara Petersen from District 6. It says a lot about the characters that none of these tributes are ever named, though Emerson will be playing the girl nicknamed "Foxface" by Katniss, and in the photo above you can see she's a good match for the part. Moio is the only one of the kids at all easy to find information on-- he's got a long list of credits on IMDB both as a child actor and a stunt double.

If you want to keep an eye on the actors brought on to play the tributes, the official Facebook page is a great place to go. Meanwhile I'll be banging my ahead against a wall through all these casting announcements until we finally get the goods and find out who Haymitch and Cinna will be.
