It's not often that people get something for free just for their name. The only thing I've ever gotten out of being named "Eric" is repetitive, unfunny Viking jokes (I'm sensitive, okay?!) If your name is Cyrus, however, and you live in the Los Angeles area, you may get a free movie ticket out of it.

Fox has announced that if your name is Cyrus, you can head down to the 20th Century Fox studio lot on Saturday July 24 at 7:00pm and catch a free screening of the movie Cyrus, starring John C. Reilly, Jonah Hill, Marisa Tomei. Hill will be at the screening to both introduce the film and host a Q&A session afterwords. Oh, and you get a free t-shirt!

Having seen and loved the film (check out my review here) I certainly recommend taking advantage of the offer. You can check out the details of the event below. And, also, Miley and Billy Ray need not apply - this is for first-namers only.

IS YOUR NAME CYRUS?

If so, you're eligible to attend an exclusive FREE screening of the new film Cyrus, hosted by the film's very own Cyrus, Jonah Hill, on Saturday, July 24th at 7PM at the 20th Century Fox studio lot.

Jonah will introduce the film and participate in a Q&A with audience members immediately following the screening. Everyone will also get free a Cyrus T-shirt!

Only ACTUAL Cyruses will be admitted - so please be sure to bring your photo ID. :)

RSVP for the screening by simply sending an email to cyrusforcyruses@gmail.com. Please include your first and last name - i.e. "Cyrus Smith," "Cyrus Jones," etc. - in the subject line of the email, and we'll send you a confirmation in the coming days. The confirmation will be for you and you only.

So if you're a Cyrus who lives in the LA area (or even if you don't and are visiting) come enjoy the show!
