Limp Biskit frontman and punchline Fred Durst is signed up to star in a comedy. I mean besides his life.
The Hollywood Reporter says the movie is a dark comedy called Play Dead, from co-writer/director Jason Wiles. Durst, Chris Klein, and Jake Busey are headlining.
Klein plays a former TV action hero named Ronnie Reno. While on the way back from a botched audition, he ends up snowed in to a remote Nevada town run by meth dealers played by Busey and Durst. Reno finds a dead FBI agent, and then somehow teams up with his former costars to save the town. It’s kind of like Last Action Hero meets The Three Amigos.
If you hate Fred Durst, then you should love this project. There’s no way in hell it’s going to be any good.
