A French trailer for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra has appeared online and it’s good news for all you Jo fans: This one looks a little less like ass than the American Super Bowl spot we got a few months ago.

Based on a cast of fictional heroes and villains of the G.I. Joe toy and cartoon universe, Rise of Cobra is about a team of soldiers fighting for freedom against the evil organization known as Cobra. Still no sign by the way, of Cobra Commander, who’s supposed to be played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Instead we get the always talented Christopher Eccleston as the trailer bad guy Destro. Eccelston’s pretty convincing.
