Earlier this month I posted a feature about my trip to the edit bay of Fright Night, the horror remake directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, David Tennant, Imogen Poots, and Toni Collette. As part of that article I wrote up detailed descriptions of the four scenes I got to see, but now you can see one of them for yourself.

MTV has posted the first official clip from Fright Night and it features one minute of the first scene that I got to watch at the edit bay. Still in the first hour of the film, the scene features a confrontation between Jerry Dandrige (Farrell), the vampire living next door, and Charley Brewster (Yelchin), our hero. Coming over to ask for a six pack of beer, Jerry delivers a not-so-subtle threat suggesting that Charley needs to start learning to protect the people he cares about.
