John Hamburg has ridden Ben Stiller's coat tails long enough. The writer of Meet the Parents, Along Came Polly, and Zoolander is striking out on his own with a new buddy action comedy called Secret Agent Men. He's sold the idea to Universal and they're developing it as a project for him to direct.
Variety says Scott Turpel and Kyle Pennekamp are in the process of writing a script while Hamburg is off directing another movie called The Troubleshooter. Troubleshooters has just started casting, and though I have no idea what it's about I'm going to go out on a limb here and recommend Ben Stiller for the lead. Why not go with what works?
