G.I. Joe Loses Its Stripes For New Logo

By Rafe Telsch: 2008-02-18 19:35:33
G.I. Joe Loses Its Stripes For New Logo This year’s New York Toy Fair hasn’t exactly been bustling with stories. Typically the toy show provides lots of first looks at previously unseen characters, but other than some speculation about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, there really hasn’t been much on the Internet this year.

MTV Movies Blog may have found something non-Indiana Jones related to report on. They noticed a change in the traditional red, white, and blue logo for G.I. Joe toys hanging out in the Hasbro toy room. Their speculation is that the banner (small version to the right) may be the official movie logo, particularly since it carries a “Coming Summer 2009” message on the banner.

Check out a larger version of the banner and new logo over at the MTV Movies Blog.
