New G.I. Joe: Retaliation International Trailer Brings Even More New Footage

On Monday night we brought you the latest trailer for G.I Joe: Retaliation, the new action film from director Jon Chu and starring Dwayne Johnson, D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park and Jonathan Pryce. It was a really badass trailer with a lot of cool stuff going on, but as I mentioned in the article, there's still a lot more to see. At a presentation at CinemaCon, I got to watch an extended sizzle reel that featured not only footage from the new trailer, but some other awesome stuff as well. While that exact material may never find its way online, the good news is that a solid amount of it can be seen in the new international trailer.

Check out the cool new trailer below (via SlashFilm), which features more of the fantastic-looking Cobra Commander as well as the escape of Storm Shadow.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation begins when the military outfit is ambushed and nearly every member of the team is killed. Able to survive the attack, Roadblock, Flint and Lady Jaye (Johnson, Cotrona, Palicki) work to not only find out who is responsible for the attack on their unit, but take them to justice. And to do that, they enlist the help of the original G.I. Joe, played by Bruce Willis. The script was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland) and the movie will arrive in theaters on June 29th. To see more from the title, head over to our Blend Film Database.
