There is no project in development more highly anticipated than Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. Hardly a week goes by that we don't hear about some new rumor surrounding the production, but very little ever gets confirmed. Nolan and Warner Bros. has kept everything so tight that apparently even the actors involved with the film have to jump through hoops in order to look at the script.

Gary Oldman recently spoke with Absolute Radio on the red carpet for the Empire Awards and he talked a bit about how the security measures preventing leaks. According to Oldman, upon entering the production office he is given an escort who then goes through a series of keys, doors and locks to get to the script. Even better, the script that the actor holds isn't even complete - it doesn't have an ending - so that the grand finale can't be ruined.

In the grand scheme of things, when you consider that it's all just words on paper, it's kind of silly that the thing would be locked up like Fort Knox, but we are talking about a project that is worth millions, and potentially billions, of dollars. Check out the interview with Oldman below, in which he also talks about working with Hardy on three consecutive projects and once again praises the new Batman script.
