Gerard Butler And Ralph Fiennes Go Head-To-Head In First Coriolanus Poster
If you haven't already done so, do yourself a favor and click HERE to see the epic new international trailer for Coriolanus, the directorial debut of two-time Oscar nominated Ralph Fiennes. An adaptation of Shakespeare's classic tragedy set in the modern world, the films looks gritty, intense and absolutely incredible. The movie isn't scheduled to arrive in theaters until December 2nd (it will be making an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival), but today luckily delivers a double-dose, as THR has premiered the film's first poster. Check it out:
Though it's a simple design we've all seen before (it's not even the first time we've seen Fiennes go head-to-head in a movie poster this year), I'm willing to give it credit because of the mix grainy black-and-white and red looks fantastic and the tattoos are obviously machine guns but at quick glance look like tribal markings. I also get a kick out of the fact that this movie is a Weinstein release and uses the exact same font as The King's Speech. What do you think of the first poster for Coriolanus?
