Between the first three movies of Wes Craven's Scream franchise, there have been a lot of grisly murders, from Drew Barrymore to Liev Schreiber, but there are a few characters that have managed to avoid the knife each time. These characters, of course, include Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley, played by Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, respectively. From the looks of the first still from the film, however, one of them might not be so lucky this time around.

Entertainment Weekly has posted the first official image from the upcoming horror sequel Scream 4, and while it's a fairly simple image, things don't look great for Ms. Weathers. She doesn't appear to know that the infamous Ghostface is standing right behind her, and aficionados know that nothing good ever comes from Ghostface sneaking up on you. Could this be the end of Gale Weathers? Be sure to tune in on April 15, 2011 for the thrilling conclusion!
