Ghosts of Girlfriends Past seems as if it were intentionally designed to embody everything I hate about the modern romantic comedy. It’s about a glamorous guy with a glamorous lifestyle where he doesn’t really have to work, except to hang around with glamorous celebrities. It takes place at a wedding and oh it has Matthew McConaughey in it.

But I don’t hate the poster. Mostly because if you squint, it looks like McConaughey is being strangled by one of his jilted girlfriends. He deserves it.
