This contest is now closed, but keep checking back for more great giveaways!
Just as last year's Oscar race saw an out-of-nowhere hit about poor kids in India win Best Picture, this year there's another dark horse about hope amid suffering that's getting all the buzz. Precious: Based on the Novel By Sapphire, directed by Lee Daniels, tells the story of Precious Jones (newcomer Gabourey Sidibe), an obese Harlem teenager about to give birth to her second baby with her own father. Living with her abusive mom (Mo'nique) and barely literate, Precious sees no hope for her future until she enrolls in an alternative school, and a caring teacher (Paula Patton) and a social worker (Mariah Carey) start to show her the way to take control of her own life.

Yes, it sounds grim, but I promise Precious is a journey worth taking. To celebrate the release of this exceptional new movie-- in select cities November 6-- we're giving away one prize pack containing the official poster you see above, a teaser poster, and a butterfly-shaped notebook.

How do you enter? Glad you asked! Simply follow these instructions: Log in to your twitter account, follow us @cinemablend and then tweet this: "@cinemablend I am precious. Enter me to win the Precious prize pack.” One winner will be selected at random. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM on Monday, November 2nd, 2009. The winner will then be contacted via Twitter and asked to provide their mailing addresses (no P.O. boxes please). Prize packs will be mailed directly to the winner. No purchase necessary. Failure to comply with the rules will in disqualification and subsequent mockery. Good luck!
