Goonies Never Say Die: Sequel Rumors Persist![]()
Goonies sequel rumors float around at least two or three times a year, and then never seem to go anywhere. Recently word was that any potential Goonies 2 project was probably dead, but now hey, they’re back.
In a Corey Feldman interview with the LA Times, there’s some strange hinting about another Goonies movie. In the quotes from Feldman included with the article, Corey himself never actually says anything about Goonies at all. But the Times still claims that he told them a Goonies sequel is in the works. Their timing might actually be perfect. Earlier tonight a friend sent me these pictures straight from Astoria, Oregon: ![]() ![]() Look familiar? Yep, that’s house from The Goonies and the driveway leading up to it. The movie was filmed there and interestingly, the house is currently being renovated. Should they choose to do a sequel, they’ll need the house. Looks like it will be ready. |
