Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp are getting ready to team-up for their fifth film together. With a script already written by Justin Haythe and Johnny Depp attached to play Tonto, Verbinski is currently in talks to direct the project, according to Deadline. Depp previously starred in the three Pirates of the Caribbean films under Verbinski and voices the titled character in Rango, which is due out next March.

Between all of his work with Verbinski and Tim Burton, how the hell is Depp finding time to work with other directors? I understand that making movies is probably a lot more fun when you're working with your friends, but I would personally love to see him work with the Coens, Eastwood or Scorsese. It's been working pretty well, but I think it might be time to branch out a bit, Johnny.
